And regardless
of the spread, look for Oklahoma to make the third try their
charm at Memorial Stadium in Norman. State just doesn't have
the matchup anomaly they have had the past two seasons when
they beat their bigger Sooner brethren. Oklahoma has the best
passing game in the country efficiency-wise, which is the
dimension they have always lacked that makes this game a gimme
for OU. And the defense, oh that quick, experienced defense.
The Sooners come in ranked fourth for pass defense, which
was a 25th-ranked element just a year ago. This, too, will
be a decisive factor as OSU's Woods will be a not be a pivotal
factor in this game's outcome. No pick as to the spread, but
look for something like 41-20 or 35-10...the game will never
be out of OU's hands.
