QUICK ANALYSIS

November 28, 2003 - Look out for those Hogs! After dissecting this team on paper, most of the remarks were more along the lines of "whoa". How many starters are back? All of the QB's, receivers, and offensive linemen are back. This is a solid team to boot in 2002. Arkansas does lose RB Fred Talley, but as long as senior Cedric Cobbs can keep his head straight, the promising youngster of a few seasons ago still has a shot at doing something special. When you talk about Arkansas' defensive effort over Coach Houston Nutt's last two campaigns, you know you are talking about tough, low scoring games. To think that practically the whole unit is returning gives this team an early leg up in the SEC West. If there is a surprise team that NationalChamps.net would recommend at this point, Arkansas first comes to mind.
