* DEPTH CHARTS were only designed as a simplistic
gauge for listing players that departed and players that
received the most playing experience (consistent starters).
NationalChamps.net recognizes the importance of missing
personnel data not listed such as redshirts, transfers,
injuries, incoming recruits, back ups, and alternates.
Their coverage will begin with our full 2004 Preseason
Preview due out this coming spring. |

QUICK
ANALYSIS
|
No
more underestimating the Horned Frogs in the preseason.
Enough talent remains to keep TCU in the Top 25.
The biggest loss exists on the DL, where TCU made
a habit of stuffing opponents with guys like Bo
Schobel and Chad Pugh. Other than the DL, the
roster is full of experience and talent, not to
mention the fact that Coach Gary Patterson is
starting to reap the recruiting rewards. Two solid
QBs remain in place, and the depth of the Horned
Frog backfield creates a steady base for continuing
the winning tradition. If some injuries heal,
the Frogs are looking at owning the current Conference
USA situation for 2004. If another conference
were looking to add a quality opponent (since
realignment has torn up the CUSA), the Frogs would
make a mighty nice addition. The future is promising
for TCU, regardless.
