The key will rest in the continued passing improvement of soon-to-be-senior QB Rasheed Marshall. Defensively, the Mountaineer DL is full of juniors and mostly seniors. But just how much did LB Grant Wiley mean to this team? We'll find out as Grant moves on, as does Brian King and Lance Frazier from the secondary. If coaches can find a fix for the defensive backfield in this 3-3-5 alignment, 2004 should be Rodriguez' best campaign yet.
