Quarterback
/ Receiver |
Move
over Oregon, this Baylor
offense under head coach
Art Briles has taken over
the Big 12 and the country
by storm with a very similar
hurry-up no-huddle look.
The stats don't lie, the
Bears are ranked No. 1
in total offense. Quarterback
Bryce Petty has decided
to return for his senior
year. Combine the return
of Petty with leading
receiver Antwan Goodley
and you have two seniors
with legit Heisman preseason
candidacy. Baylor has
the skill to run this
high scoring system. |

|
Offensive
Line / Secondary |
The
only aspect capable of
slowing down this offense
are the blockers up front.
Only two starters get
welcomed back to the fray
which includes the tight
end position. All-American
guard Cyril Richardson
cannot be easily replaced.
The secondary has played
exceptionally well and
was a big part of the
defensive turnaround in
Waco. However, this nickel-based
scheme will have to rely
on four completely new
faces next season to keep
the pace. |
