All-SEC rusher Mike Davis
has a sturdy offensive
line that has finally
seemed to shake the rust
of previous years making
this unit a desperately
needed strength. Defense
has never been an issue
in Columbia. The Gamecocks
will lean on a deep set
of linebackers to carry
the tradition. |

quarterback job finally
belongs to now senior
Dylan Thompson. Many times
over the last couple of
seasons Dylan has had
his chance to rise up
and take the starting
spotlight only to fail
in mediocre outings. Can
this athletic QB hold
off the newcomers in this
his final campaign? The
defensive line has been
gutted by the NFL. There
is always talent waiting
in the wings. Now it's
just a matter of filling
in the gaps. Both corners
will need replaced after
Victor Hampton bolted
early for the NFL. This
has been an area where
South Carolina excelled.
