Dickinson State and Southern Oregon are new members of this conference for the 2012 season, and the two-division format is also new for 2012.
Rocky Mountain has a new helmet design for the 2012; the team has switched to white helmets shells with an "RMC" logo that is apparently similar to the one used in 2011. I will need a copy of the helmet logo in order to add this new helmet to the web site.
Montana Tech also has a new helmet design for the 2012 season (shown above).

I have not received any information about earlier helmet designs for Dickinson State.

*1 This design was apparently in use throughout at least the period 2000 - 2011.

In 2001, Montana-Western used red helmets with a logo consisting of a white cartoon bulldog, which was very similar to the one used by Samford University at one time (the Samford helmet is shown on the Southern Conference page at this site). I would appreciate a CLEAR photograph of Montana-Western's 2001 helmet.
The 1988-1992 helmet has been described as having a large white "W" logo similar to the one used in the middle of the "DAWGS" logo on the current helmet, and the 1993 helmet featured a black stripe and black numerals (I would assume red helmet shells on both these designs, facemask colors were not specified).

Another historical helmet design for Rocky Mountain featured a "bear head" decal, apparently similar to the one serving as the "O" in "ROCKY" on the "c.1990" helmet shown above, but larger; the decal was supposedly gold or yellow in color, and was worn on dark green or black helmet shells. This design was reportedly used during the late 1980s or early 1990s; I would appreciate any photographs of this design, or of other historical designs used by the team.
