During recent years Briar Cliff has used the following sequences of helmet designs:

2002 was the first year for the BCU football team.

CONCORDIA UNIVERSITY, NEBRASKA

2001 - 2002? (some games) 2001? - 2004 (most games) 2005 - 2011
2012 - 2015 2016 -

Concordia used the helmet design with the white "CU" logo apparently more often than not during the early 2000s, but I have seen photographs from some games during at least the 2001 and 2002 seasons in which the helmets were "blank". I would appreciate hearing from anyone who can clarify specifically when the decals were used and not used.

The helmet design used during at least 1974 and 1975 has been described as featuring white shells with a "C that was formed with broken squares in blue". The team apparently used plain white helmets for a while in 1976 until American flag decals were added to the sides.

During recent years Dakota Wesleyan has used the following sequences of helmet designs:

*1 In 2014 the large tiger logo was worn only on the left side of each helmet; on the right side, blue uniform numerals were used (as shown below).

*2 This design has numerals on its left side only; the right side features a large "tiger" logo (as shown below).

*3 This design has numerals on its left side only; the right side features a large "tiger" logo (as shown below).

*4 This design has uniform numerals on its left side only; the right side features a "DWU" logo (as shown below).

*5 The 'DWU' logo is worn on the left side only of both designs 'F' and 'G'; the right side of both is 'blank'.

*1 During the 2012 and 2013 seasons the uniform numerals were worn only on the left side of each helmet; on the right side was the 'horseshoe' logo (as on the previous design). During at least one game in 2013 (October 5 vs Briar Cliff) the horseshoe decals were absent.

*2 Uniform numerals are present on the left side only of this design; the right side features a large "bronco head" logo (as shown below)..

*3 The horseshoe logo and uniform numerals are present on the left side of this design only; the right side has the same "bronco head" logo as is present on the right side of design 'C'.

*4 During Hastings' last five games in 2019 the right side of the team's helmet design was altered by the addition of a small black circle containing the number 75 (as shown below); this was done in memory of former team member Blaine Morrow, who died October 7, 2019.

UNIVERSITY OF JAMESTOWN

c.1960s? ? - present

Jamestown has apparently used plain orange helmets since at least 1999. A "J" logo was in use much earlier.

The name of this school was Midland Lutheran University prior to the 2010 football season. Midland Lutheran adopted a new helmet logo in 2005; I would need a copy of the logo artwork in order to add this helmet to the website. Below is a rather poor photo from 2005 (a close look will show that this is not the same as the logo on the helmet labelled "2001-2004" above; the word "WARRIORS" is absent from this version):

*1 MLC used these plain white helmets for at least one or two games during 2000. The team also apparently used a version of the '2001-2004' helmet logo with the colors reversed (orange "WARRIORS" with a black outline) at some point around 2000 or 2001.

MORNINGSIDE UNIVERSITY

1998 - 2000; 2002 -

Morningside College was an original member of the North Central Conference, which was an NCAA Division II conference when Morningside played its last season as a member in 2000. Due to an insufficient number of players the school fielded a club-level team in 2001, before joining the NAIA in 2002. 'Maroon Chiefs' was the team nickname prior to 1998.
