This team had one of the more spectacular early helmet logos (photograph below from the college's 1963 yearbook): a large "beaver" silhouette which was presumably blue in color. The helmet shell color is unknown, but is presumably white or yellow, if the school colors have not changed since then. Interestingly, most of the team's facemasks appear to be a dark color during this same period (nearly every other team used default gray or white facemasks at this time).
*1 The "BV" logo is worn on the left side only of this design; white uniform numbers are worn on the right side.
*2 Uniform numbers are worn on the left side only of this design; a "BV" logo adorns the right side (as represented below).
CENTRAL COLLEGE
This is one of the very few teams that has used (to the best of my knowledge) only a single helmet design since this website began operation in 1999.

Dubuque's 2000 season helmet design was similar to the 1998-1999 one shown above, but had a black outline around the letters and no central stripes.
An earlier helmet design (c.late 1970s/early 1980s) has been described as being similar to the 1997 helmet shown above, with the addition of a white "USC Trojan" logo.

Since 2015 Loras has used the following sequences of helmet designs:
- 2021: A2-A3-A; A-A-A; A-A-A?; A?
- 2020*: A2-A2
- 2019: ?-A-A; A-A-A; A-B-A; A
- 2018: A1-A1?-A; A-A?-A; A-A-B?; A?
- 2017: B-B-A2; A2-A-A; B-A-A; A
- 2016: A2-B-B; A3-A-A; ?-A-A; A
- 2015: B-A-A; A-B-?; A-A-B; A
*1 Loras apparently used plain gold helmets throughout the period 1980 to 2014. Since 2015 a logo has been worn on the right side during most games, as represented below. Design 'A2' is 'blank' on both sides.
*2 This design is "blank" on its left side only; the right side has an "L" logo (as shown below).

*1 Nebraska Wesleyan switched to this design when the college changed the names of its athletic teams from "Plainsmen" to "Prairie Wolves"; this occurred about (I think) midway through the 2000 season. It was incorrectly reported to me earlier that the helmet design was changed at halftime of the team's homecoming game that year; while the new nickname and logo were introduced at halftime, the new helmet design was not used until the following week.

The current helmet design has apparently been in use since at least 2000, making this one of the very few teams that have existed since this website was started and have used only one design during this period (to the best of my knowledge).
