Florida A&M, Howard, and Morgan State have new helmet designs in 2018 (shown above).

Longtime conference member Hampton has departed to spend the 2018 season as an independent team before joining the Big South Conference in 2019.

During recent years Bethune-Cookman has used the following sequences of helmet designs:

*1 BCC began the 2009 season with "blank" helmets, but had added helmet decals by at least late September (I would appreciate a report as to exactly when the new decals were first used).

*2 Uniform numerals are present on the left side only of this design; the right side has an oversized "wildcat head" logo (as represented below).

I have received almost zero information about helmet designs used by this team during the 1960s and 1970s. The third design shown above was apparently used throughout the period 1982 - 2004.

*1 The hornet logo is worn on the left side only of this design; the right side features white uniform numerals (as shown below).

During recent years NCCU has used the following sequences of helmet designs:

During the mid-1990s, NCCU used silver helmets with maroon faceguards and the team name "Eagles" on the sides of the helmets, in cursive, maroon letters.

In 2002, NCCU used a silver and/or white "flying eagle" decal, as shown in the photograph below. I would appreciate a copy of this logo, which would enable me to add this helmet to the web site.
